If YES, details of any divorce must be submitted prior to district licensing to the Board of General
Superintendents for review in accordance with Manual 320, 532.1(8), 532.2(7). At least one year
prior to seeking the next level of licensing (District Minister’s License), your pastor will assist you
in meeting this requirement.

I also acknowledge that consideration for a Local Minister’s License is contingent, in part, upon the completion of a background check on me for the purpose of informing the General Church, its district leaders or its boards, and my local church pastor and leaders as to my fitness for ministry.
